André Leu:

Prof. Dr. André Leu is the International Director of Regeneration International, an organization with the mission to promote, facilitate and accelerate the global transition to regenerative food, farming, and land management, for the purpose of restoring climate stability, ending world hunger, and rebuilding deteriorated social, ecological, and economic systems.


André has a Doctorate of Science in Agricultural and Environmental Systems, and a B.Communications and Grad Diploma in Adult Education. He is an Adjunct Professor at South Seas University, and very active in continuing education ih the regenerative agriculture space. He is an Ambassador for IFOAM - Organics International, and was the IFOAM President from 2011-2017.

He lectures and teaches at universities, institutions and workshops around the world — and speaks at numerous conferences and seminars — as well as United Nations events on every continent. He meets with governments, industry, farmers, consumers and NGOs on the multi-functional benefits of regenerative organic agriculture.


Andre has an extensive knowledge of farming and environmental systems across Asia, Europe, the Americas, Africa and Australasia from over 40 years of visiting and working in over 100 countries. He and his wife, Julia, have an organic tropical fruit farm in Daintree, Australia.
